Dr. Corinna Shelley is the primary
optometrist and lead vision therapy specialist at
Family Optometry of Tracy. She has worked in the optometry
industry since 2001 and is passionate about vision
therapy's impact in academic learning. She has seen
the dramatic impact of how vision therapy helps rehabilitate
patients with traumatic and acquired brain injuries.
She takes pride in getting to know her patients' needs
while providing a caring environment for children
of all ages.
Dr. Shelley received her Doctorate
of Optometry (O.D.) from Pacific University College
of Optometry and her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree
in Kinesiology from San Francisco State University.
Since 2003, she has been an active member in COVD
(College of Optometrists in Vision Development). Dr.
Shelley held the positions of Local and National Liaison
for COVD at Pacific University from 2004 through 2006.
In May 2007, Dr. Shelley received the "College
of Optometrists in Vision Development Award for Excellence
in Vision Therapy." Her
volunteer experience includes Opening Eyes Special
Olympics, AMIGOS eyecare, and Save Your Vision Month.
